So the last 3 months have been pretty crazy for me which has meant no time for any blogging or anything except offline living. Well ladies and gents, the good news is that I’m back in business and ready to get back online!
Back in November I sold my house and after my purchase falling through in February I’ve spent the past few months trying to not only find a new place but also retain my buyer. I’ll be honest, that’s been pretty damn stressful! Needless to say over the last few months I’ve been swamped with solicitors, estate agents, banks, threats of people pulling out, completely shit, incompetent Conveyancing solicitors and had endless discussions about mortgages and interest rates! However! As of June I finally managed to move house, a mere 7 months after selling my house. Out with the old…
… and in with the new…
With moving in we’ve had no internet or TV which has been like living in the dark ages! It’s amazing how reliant you become on these 2 things as I can assure you that when they are taken away you really do have to find things to do – maybe I need to take up some new hobbies to better occupy my time!?
Soo what else has been going on? Well, I’ve been to see Kings of Leon perform at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes…
…been on a pretty nice holiday to Pollenca in Mallorca for a week…
…got a Bonsai tree for my office desk…
…had to cope with my nan’s funeral (RIP nan)…
…checked out the new local with Sarah and my sister, Kate…
… And am now embarking on a pretty substantial DIY job with Sarah in the new house, re-carpeting and painting the entire place from top to bottom!
So that’s it! I’ve not sat still for more than 5 minutes and it’s time to calm the hell down and get back to doing some blogging.
I hope you are all well and are looking forward to an upcoming post of me ranting (in full) about my experience of moving house with Pictons solicitors in Milton Keynes… boy has that been an experience worth sharing!
