On Friday night I headed over to the 2015 UK Blog Awards with Matt and Alina who work within my team at Debenhams HQ in recognition of the UK’s best bloggers.
Alina is an award winning lifestyle / interiors blogger herself, running The Fairytale Pretty Picture, and had been invited to join the judging panel for the 2nd year running covering the lifestyle category.
Back in December, Alina recommended to me that in addition to her being a judge we should sponsor the UK Blog Awards to better engage with bloggers and never being one to miss out on an opportunity I felt that Debenhams would be a great fit for the event; needless to say, I pulled out my corporate cheque book and put forward the cash.
The event had a theme of The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland and the event organisers did an excellent job with themed costumes and an amazingly decorated venue.
